Hola.

Este es el blog oficial de la construcción del nuevo templo para la Segunda Iglesia Metodista de Iquique.

"Dijo además David a Salomón su hijo: Anímate y esfuérzate, y manos a la obra; no temas, ni desmayes, porque Jehová Dios, mi Dios, estará contigo; él no te dejará ni te desamparará, hasta que acabes toda la obra para el servicio de la casa de Jehová.

21 He aquí los grupos de los sacerdotes y de los levitas, para todo el ministerio de la casa de Dios, estarán contigo en toda la obra; asimismo todos los voluntarios e inteligentes para toda forma de servicio, y los príncipes, y todo el pueblo para ejecutar todas tus órdenes."

1 Crónicas 28:20-21 ha sido una promesa crucial para nuestra iglesia. Desde el momento en que Dios puso en nuestro corazón el deseo y la misión de construir un nuevo templo, nos tomamos fuertemente de Su palabra , mientras vemos Su mano actuar en pasa paso que damos.

Ya hemos tenido dos grupos de voluntarios este año, que han venido y nos han ayudado a construir parte de nuestro sueño. Continuamos orando para que Dios envíe más grupos aquí. Gracias a Sue Ann "Susana" Lewis, y la Iglesia Metodista Unida Mount Pisgah por su valiosa cooperación. Su grupo vino de Richmond, Virginia y estuvieron trabajando en el sitio de la construcción por una semana. También queremos agardecer al pastor Paul Sackett y al equipo voluntario que vino de Louisville, Texas y a la Pimera Iglesia Metodista de Louisville. Su trabajo nos ha alentado a perseverar y continuar trabajando.

Finalmente, la Segunda Iglesia Metodista de Iquique quiere agradecer a Dios, por Su amor, Su poder, Sus obras, Su gracia y Su paz.
Que las bendiciones del Todopoderso les acompañen por siempre.

"Y los que están lejos vendrán y ayudarán a edificar el templo de Jehová, y conoceréis que Jehová de los ejércitos me ha enviado a vosotros. Y esto sucederá si oyereis obedientes la voz de Jehová vuestro Dios."

Welcome To The Construction of The New Sanctuary

Hello.

This is the official weblog for the construction of the New Sanctuary for the Second Methodist Church of Iquique.

"And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment."

1 Chronicles 28:20-21 has been a critical promise for our church. From the moment God put in our hearts the mission and desire to build a new temple, we held His word tightly and we see His hand in every step we take.

We have already had two volunteer groups this year that have come and helped us build part of our dream. We continue praying so God sends more teams here.
Thanks to Sue Ann Lewis, and Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church for their valuable cooperation. Their group came from Richmond, Virginia and they were working at the site for a week.

We would also like to thank Paul Sackett and the volunteer group that came from Louisville, Texas and the First United Methodist Church of Louisville. Your work has encouraged us to persevere and continue working.

Finally, the Second Methodist Church of Iquique wants to thank God, for his love, power, works, grace and peace.
May the Blessings of the Almighty be with you, always.
